Is web surfing free on Virgin Mobile phones or does it use up airtime?

I was wondering of getting a phone with Virgin Mobile but I was wondering if web browsing would use up my airtime.If not,is it free or do I have to pay extra for this service?

When swapping Virgin Mobile phones, do you still receive starter airtime?

I currently have that Virgin Mobile Slice, but plan on buying a newer version of it. When I switch phone numbers to the new one, will I still recieve starter airtime on the new phone, or because I’m just switching phones, I won’t?
