I would like to purchase a Motorola Krave. However, I am not eligible for an upgrade through my Verizon account so I would have to pay the full $350 for the phone through Verizon. If I were to purchase a used Krave online, through eBay for example, would I be able to activate it with my account? If so, how?

Sure can, and usually it just takes a phone call to do so. You might have to call from a friends phone or a land line, because they need you to take the battery out of your new and old phone to read some serial numbers to them. Few minutes on the phone and they’ll have you up and running.

While you have them on the phone, ask them if there are any good promos running right now. Sometimes they can tweak your plan a little bit without extending the contract and save you some money.

oh yea, and the number is 1-800-256-4646

As long as you get one that was from Verizon all you should have to do is call and give them the new ESN number from this phone and they will activate it. I think you used to be able to do change the esn numbers on your account online also. Not sure if you still can or not.
