How many characters can you type on the LG Xenon for text messaging?

For the phone that I have now, you can type 160 characters then it stops you. For the LG Xenon, I know it gives you 160 characters, but can you type more than that then it just sends in different pages, or does it stop you at 160 too?

    i can type over 160 but it won’t send to non verizon customers if i send over that amount. I have a Nokia 6205. They’re all the same.

    It stops at 160. If you are texting another person from the same company, I think you can text more characters.

    i have an LG Xenon and u can type 160 letters on one page. if u type more, it sends it in 2 (or more) pages
